In the last two games Hanley Town Reserves and Market Drayton Town Development have sored 19 goals between them. Last week Hanley Town Reserves won the League encounter 7-4 away, yesterday Hanley Town won this Staffordshire FA Presidents Trophy encounter on Saturday 5-3 at the NBe Brokers Stadium.

In an end to end game Town Reserves took the lead on 19 minutes when Tylese Armstrong raced clear to clip a shot over the onrushing MDT keeper. Minutes before that the visitor's rattled the Hanley post.

MDT levelled just before the half hour. Alfie Wright rattled the MDT post for Hanley a few minutes later. Hanley took the lead again on 34 minutes when Kelvanoth Effah surging run through the visitor's defence ended with a calm finish.

The visitor's almost levelled for a second time when an angled 12 yard shot looked to be heading into the far corner of the net, only for Hanley keeper to tip onto the post at full stretch. A mistake by the MDT keeper allowed a Louis Brown 30 yard freekick to bounce over the line just before the interval.

The second period was similar to the first end to end. But it was MDT who were to reduce the arrears early in the second half. But Nwaobilor Ananaba restored Hanley's two goal lead on 64 minutes.

Lucas O'Reilly made it 5-2 with the visitor's netting their third late on to make it 22 goals between the two sides in the three games played against each other this season.
