Hanley Town moved into the top four of the Northern Premier West Division after a deserved win away at Chasetown on Tuesday night.

Hanley went in front on 16 minutes after a well placed shot by Jack Van Der Laan after receiving a superb pass from Ramsey. Minutes later Max Van Der Laan fired a 20 yarder just wide of the post, and Fin Pattison fired just as Hanley dominated the opening exchanges.

On the half hour mark a through ball released Chasetown's Sambizi in on goal but Town keeper Knight reacted quickly off his line to save at Sambizi's feet, minutes later Knight pulled off a save to deny M.Hearsey. Just before the interval Hanley's Devante Ramsey forced Chasetown keeper Nunez into a good save.
